"You don't take a photograph, you make it." ~Ansel Adams~ I have loved photography all my life. I have been taking photographs for over 15 years and have been doing it professionally since 2008. I am a thoughtful and caring photographer who is well versed in a wide range of photographic styles, and a variety of effects in PhotoShop. I am 30 years old. I grew up near Sacramento and moved to San Diego to attend the University of California. When I graduated, I went on to law school. I was involved in a car crash near the end of 2006. Four brain surgeries later, I am alive and well and very thankful to be here and doing what I love! I am now the mother of a beautiful daughter. I have always had a connection to animals. I have had pets for my entire life, almost a zoo at times! Dogs, cats, birds, horses, reptiles, rodents, amphibians-- you name it, I've probably taken care of it! I worked at a pet store for a time, taking care of a wide array of animals. I even worked with the Navy Marine Mammal Program and at SeaWorld San Diego. I have years of experience working with all types of animals, so I am comfortable with large and small animals alike! My years of animal experience give me a unique perspective on animal photography and I am able to capture the animal's "personality" better than most. Pets, newborns, babies, children, couples, weddings, and families are my favorite things to photograph, though as long as I'm taking pictures, I'm happy! Through photography I am able to creatively express myself in a true and artistic form by capturing those special moments in a way that allows you to remember them and keep them safe.
